G-DRAGON once again set Paris alight with a commanding performance that proved his global influence.

On Jan. 22, G-DRAGON took the stage at Paris La Défense Arena during Le Gala des Pièces Jaunes, one of France’s most prestigious charity events. He was the only Korean artist invited for the second consecutive year, further cementing his status as a true global icon.

From the moment he stepped on stage, G-DRAGON seized control of the arena. The performance was especially notable for its high-profile collaborations: former Paris Opera Ballet étoile Aurélie Dupont, and Les Twins—France’s legendary hip-hop duo widely known as choreographers for Beyoncé. Artists from vastly different genres and backgrounds moved as one, powerfully illustrating how art transcends language and borders.

G-DRAGON’s stage fashion also drew attention for its signature wit and flair.

During his performance of “TOO BAD,” he wore a color palette inspired by the French flag, effortlessly blending into the local atmosphere.

His custom Chanel jacket paired with an “I ♥ PARIS” top highlighted both his originality and playful sensibility, elevating the symbolic impact of the stage.

Following the performance, social media in France and global fan communities overflowed with praise, with comments such as “A flawless live performance,” “GD brought Beyoncé’s dancers Les Twins and ballerina Aurélie Dupont together on one stage—truly incredible,” and “Paris loves GD,” capturing the lasting impression of the night.

The performance will be broadcast on French terrestrial television channel France 2 on Jan. 30 (local time), for audiences worldwide to relive the moment.
