Jennie lit up the Chicago night with a dazzling performance, once again proving her commanding stage presence.

On August 1 (local time), she took the stage as a headliner at the major US music festival Lollapalooza Chicago, leading the final performance on the festival’s main “Bud Light” stage.

First launched in 1991, Lollapalooza is one of North America’s largest music festivals, featuring eight stages, around 170 artists, and drawing more than 400,000 attendees. Jennie was named among the headliners alongside globally renowned artists, generating significant anticipation from fans worldwide.

In particular, Jennie made history as the first Korean female solo artist to headline Lollapalooza. She also closed out the main stage as the final headliner, further cementing her status as a global powerhouse.

During her roughly one-hour set, Jennie delivered about 18 songs across various genres, all performed with a live band, showcasing a flawless and dynamic performance. Commanding the stage on her own, she heightened the audience’s immersion with newly arranged versions of her hit tracks, while actively engaging with the crowd to bring the festival to a spectacular close.

As this marked her first live performance following the official release of her new single “Less than a Lover,” global fans at the venue responded with loud cheers and singalongs, driving the energy to its peak and highlighting the song’s strong international reception.

Adding to the excitement, Jennie surprised fans by unveiling another unreleased new track for the first time during the show, further igniting the atmosphere.

Meanwhile, Jennie is set to continue her festival run with an upcoming appearance at Summer Sonic 2026 in Japan.
