[헤럴드POP=고명진 기자]프리스틴 카일라가 그룹 해체 심경을 밝혔다.

25일 카일라는 자신의 인스타그램에 "내가 이 게시물을 올려야 한다는 게 착잡하다. 나는 여러분들이 많은 궁금증을 가지고 있는 걸 안다. 나는 그저 미안하다고 말하고 싶다. 그리고 우리가 플레디스 걸즈였을 때부터 지금까지 보여준 사랑에 감사한 마음을 전한다"고 말했다.

이어 "프리스틴이 공식적으로 해체됐지만, 나는 여러분들이 화내기 보다는 우리가 함께했던 추억과 업적에 대해 기뻐해주길 바란다"며 "나는 지난 9년간 플레디스에서 지내면서 놀라운 경험을 했고 멋진 두 번째 가족을 얻을 수 있었다. (프리스틴으로 활동하는) 지난 2년간은 롤러코스터 같았다. 그 기간 동안 우리를 지지해준 모든 사람들에게 감사하다"고 덧붙였다.

한편 지난 24일 플레디스 엔터테인먼트 측은 프리스틴의 해체를 발표했다. 소속사 측은 프리스틴의 멤버 결경, 예하나, 성연을 제외한 나영, 로아, 유하, 은우, 레나, 시연, 카일라 7인은 2019년 5월24일(계약만료 시점)을 끝으로 당사와의 전속 계약 해지를 결정하게 되었다고 전했다.

Dear HIghs,

I am so devastated that I have to be uploading this post and I know that so many of you have a million questions.

For now, I just want to say I am so sorry and also incredibly grateful to all of you who have supported us from the beginning from when we were Pledis Girlz to now.

While Pristin has officially disbanded, I would like to ask you all not to be upset and angry, but rather joyous of the memories that we've had together and all of the amazing things we have accomplished.

Moving forward, I hope you all will find it in your hearts to support me as Kyla Massie instead of Pristin Kyla. I had been with Pledis for approximately 9 years now and I am very lucky to have had this amazing experience and to have had such a wonderful second family.

Thank you. It has been a rollercoaster ride the past 2 years and I couldn't be more grateful to all of the people who have supported us over this time.
